where do we draw the line between a boat and a ship?

i wouldn't call a car ferry a ship and that passenger boat on the river in france that was just added doesn't seem much like one to me either Plugwash 03:11, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

• What is the function of this article? It seems to mee much more appropriate to give here a good instruction for categorising ships. --Stunteltje (talk) 19:33, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
